Vilà Vila Serveis Ambientals is a company committed to the environment and to the reduction of greenhouse gases (GHG).
Our commitments to meet our greenhouse gas reduction targets are as follows:
– Progressive reduction of paper consumption, up to 80% in 2023 and 90% in 2024, compared to 2019, through the implementation of three computerised document control systems applied to the offices, the fleet of vehicles and waste document management.
– Progressive reduction of fuel consumption by 20% by 2024, by implementing a fuel consumption minimisation and fleet control plan.
– Encourage the use of sustainable vehicles (electric, bicycles, etc.).
– Increase the use of renewable energies.
– Establish compensation mechanisms for un-reduced GHG emissions.
– Carry out periodic sustainability audits at Vilà Vila Serveis Ambientals.
– Encourage recycling.
– Promote more responsible, sustainable and healthy consumption habits.
– Implement green purchasing.
– Include more climate and sustainability aspects in staff training.
We want to raise awareness among all the actors involved in the protection of the environment, promoting measures that favour the reduction of GEH.
In order to complaying with our Quality, Environment, Health and Safety at Work policy, in 2022 we will join the programme of voluntary agreements for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, which is an initiative of the Catalan Government, managed by the Catalan Office for Climate Change (OCCC).
